As part of the Lewington House (Omeo’s aged care facility) diversional therapy program residents took part in some baking yesterday. It was no trouble at all for these seasoned hands in the kitchen to whip up some delicious chocolate muffins. As keeper of the blog I felt the need to sample the baked goods and I must say they were quite tasty. Many of the local ladies in the area take great pride in their baking skills and it is great to see that living in an aged care facility is no barrier to continuing to practice the skill.
